Kauai Part 2

So here are some more pics from our trip. We took over 200 so I just had to pick and choose a few to post. These are out of order...but you'll get the idea.

Landon getting use to the water. Sometimes he would just giggle when the water reached his feet. It was priceless.

Jon & Leta and Llon & I went on a hike one morning at the Napoli coast. It was beyond beautiful...words cannot express how amazing it was. We hiked 2 hrs one way to this small beach that you can only get to by hiking, we couldn't swim b/c it was too dangerous but it sure was beautiful there.

This was at the end of the 2hr oneway hike, there was a river stream that went into the ocean.

this was somewhere along the 2hr hike, we would go up and down. This is a little waterfall that we hiked by.

Kauai Trip Part 1

We had a wonderful time in Kauai last week with Llon's family. Everything was just great, we enjoyed family, the beach, hiking, fresh fruit, train ride, etc. Between Leta and I we have a lot of pics. So here is part 1...enjoy!

This is the first morning...it's 6am! I don't know if we were just excited or if it was part of the time change...but us 3 couldn't sleep. :) So we walked down the road to get breakfast.

This is part of the outside of our house that we stayed at. It was beautiful and just perfect for our family.

At first Landon wasn't sure about the load ocean, but after a few times seeing it he warmed up to it.

The boys rented surf boards for the week. The first day out on the water.


We went to Kauai Plantations where we rode a train, fed some animals, hiked, and ate fresh fruit from the orchard. Here is Landon chasing the wild chickens...he loved doing this...he would run and giggle toward them. It was too cute.

Besides the chickens, Landon enjoyed all the frogs he saw too.
